The conversation most Indian applicants never get.

"Easy, if you pay this week." — Not really.

If you have spent any time in a Chandigarh or South Delhi consultancy, you already know the script. Someone photocopies your degree, quotes a package, and tells you New Zealand is "easy" if you pay this week.

It is not easy. Indian work-experience letters are often too thin for INZ. Bank statements get queried. Partnership files from arranged marriages get PPI letters asking for proof the couple actually lived together. Student files collapse when the course does not match the work history. None of that is fixed by a glossy brochure.

Medicals

Use an INZ panel physician. Neighbourhood GPs are not accepted if a panel clinic exists in your country — and India has them in the main metros.

For many categories INZ now uses an application-first process: you lodge, they tell you which examination to book, you take the NZER/NZHR number to the clinic. Do not pay for a full medical a month early unless we have confirmed you need one.

Biometrics

After lodgement INZ sends a biometrics request. Book VFS Global (New Zealand VAC). Take the letter, the passport, the appointment confirmation. Biometrics usually remain valid for five years.

PCC through Passport Seva. Timing matters: too early and it expires before INZ reads the file; too late and the file sits.

Yes. Offshore representation is normal. The licence is New Zealand. The calls can be IST. You still do medicals and biometrics in India.

Most PPI letters come from thin documentation — work-experience letters that don't match the role, funds that aren't sourced clearly, or partnership files that don't evidence cohabitation. A licensed adviser builds the file with INZ's questions in mind, not after they arrive.

It depends on the pathway. Skill level 3 AEWV applicants need English evidence. Student visas require set bands. We confirm the exact test, score, and expiry window for your file before you book anything.
